Schedule of Events

Two days, two different settings: a long lunch in the desert on Friday, and then an evening in Beldi's rose garden the next day. See below for more details, all noted in Marrakech time (UTC+1).

Welcome Lunch

Emeraude Camp · Agafay Desert

Join us for a leisurely meal against the backdrop of rocky hills and wandering camels. Expect slow-cooked tagines, low cushions, uneven ground, and a 1-hr drive that can be bumpy at points.

AttireComfortable cocktail attire. Flat shoes and extra layers recommended for the desert.
TransportCoaches will run from a central pickup point in Marrakech and return guests to the city in the late afternoon. Times will be confirmed closer to the date.
Good to knowThe Agafay Desert sits at an altitude at the base of the Atlas Mountains. It is stone-covered rather than sandy, so please bring sunglasses, comfortable shoes, a hat, and a jacket for the breeze.

Ceremony

The Greenhouse at Beldi Country Club

The evening will begin with a ceremony and an exchange of vows in The Greenhouse. Please arrive by 4:30pm to enjoy a glass of something cold while you wander around the rose and cacti gardens beforehand.

AttireFormal or traditional attire. For those wanting to wear heels, consider a sturdier sole for Beldi's gravel walkways.
ChildrenThis is an adults-only affair, aside from the small cohort of cousins and friends Amira has invited to accompany her for the ceremony. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
6:30 pm onwards

Dinner & Dancing

The Riad at Beldi Country Club

Refreshments and finger foods will be served in the courtyard, followed by a candlelight dinner beneath a canopy of lanterns and then dancing for as long as our feet can handle it!

TransportShuttles will run from Beldi to Marrakech city centre and to a couple of designated hotels through the night.
Late nightFor those staying on at Beldi, the bar will be open well past respectable hours.
